The Grand Arch Project
For a number of years portions of the entry to the Grand Arch of the Santa Barbara County Courthouse has been visibly deteriorating. In particular, the sandstone and sculpture work are eroding and the mortar joints are failing. Learn More >>
Who We Are
in 2004, a small group of committed citizens came together and formed the Santa Barbara Courthouse Legacy Foundation, dedicated to the conservation and restoration of this magnificent building for generations to come. Watch the Video »

The Courthouse is home to one of few remaining Seth Thomas mechanically driven tower clocks and the only tower clock in the United States completely accessible to people with limited mobility.
